After years of heartfelt anticipation, unwavering devotion and countless prayers, the long-awaited enthronement of the 13th Minling Trichen, Gyurme Kunzang Jigme, finally took place at Mindrolling Monastery in Dranang County, Lhoka, Tibet – the principal seat of the Mindrolling lineage. This historic occasion marks an important milestone in the continuation of this precious spiritual tradition.
The Mindrolling lineage is not merely a name passed down through generations, but a sacred tradition enriched by the blessings of the Buddhas, the enlightened activities of successive masters and the profound wisdom of the Dharma teachings. The enthronement represents the continuation of this invaluable spiritual legacy and brings renewed inspiration and hope to disciples and devotees across the world.
The joyous occasion was celebrated in different parts of the world wherever the Mindrolling lineage is followed and cherished. Here in India, the principal seat of the lineage in exile, we too marked this auspicious day with traditional ceremonial dances and prayers, expressing our devotion, gratitude and collective joy.
The occasion was further honoured by heartfelt greetings, blessings and congratulatory messages from eminent masters of other Nyingma traditions, whose warm wishes added to the significance and joy of this historic event.
On this auspicious occasion, we offer our heartfelt prayers for His Holiness’s long life, good health and the continued flourishing of his enlightened activities. May he preserve the precious legacy of his predecessors and ensure that the light of the Mindrolling Dharma continues to shine throughout the ten directions.
